Grand Prizes: awarded at the Grand Finale at the end of 2021.

The adjudicators access each entry and a certificate with commentary will be sent by the 5th of the following month.  There are monthly prizes to be won.  Winners will be announced on our monthly Showcase programme on the 2nd of the following month at 17:00 on YouTube. There is also be a "Public's Favourite" prize.  If your video is shared on the OMTS platform, make sure to invite friends and family to receive more likes for your video.  Only likes on the OMTS platforms will be taken into account.  Better your chances to win more likes by entering early in the month.  Prize winners will also be personally informed & put into contact with prize sponsors after our monthly Showcase programme on YouTube.

All prizes are valid for 2 months after it has been awarded, but subject to the Covid-19 Pandemic rules and regulations.

Werner Stolze comes from a long line of Master Piano Builders and is a 4th generation legacy.  His great-grandfather, Willy Kurt Hutzelmann, started the family factory in 1919 in Eisenberg, Germany.  The Stolze family immigrated and settled in South Africa in 1953.  Kurt and Wilfred Stolze, father and son, continued their Piano trade.  Today, the legacy continues with the grandson, Werner, mastering the art of Piano tuning and -building.

Hannes and Wenette Snyman, co-owners of Snyman Sjokolateur qualified as chocolatiers in June 2005 in a small town called Kortrijk in Belgium.  Trained by the Master Belgian Chocolatier, Wim den Duyver, they were able to bring the craftmanship of making pure Belgian chocolates and pralines to South Africa. 
Hannes, a qualified pharmacist and pharmacy owner, started out by making chocolates in his pharmacy, but soon realized that the need was there to branch out to something bigger, something that would resemble and reinforce the true Belgian Chocolatrie Experience.
Today, Snyman Sjokolateurs has grown to handcrafting and designing a variety of Belgium chocolates and pralines, supplying not only to the individual, but to corporate clients and weddings as well.

An Engineer of profession, Hannes started violinmaking and -repairing on a full time basis in 2002, a decision that he has never regretted.  
During this period, he was a member of the Catgut Acoustical Society in the USA, as well as of the Southern Californian Violin Makers Association.  He also visited trade fairs in Frankfurt and Cremona to get a better overall insight into the world of musical instruments.  Qualified violinmakers from Mittenwald in Germany have also worked in his workshop which also provided valuable information regarding the making and restoration of stringed instruments.
